Dr. Morgan is from the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory, where she currently resides. She holds a PhD Education, from McGill University. Currently, Morgan is Senior Research Advisor, with Department of Education & Counselling Psychology at the McGill University.

Dr. Morgan ensures her traditional knowledge and knowledge systems are used the western/academic systems, where they compliment each other in the work.
