The purpose of this project is to evaluate and compare potential assessment methodologies for cumulative effects assessment in the context of the Transport Canada led Cumulative Effects of Marine Shipping initiative (CEMS) under Canada’s Ocean Protection Plan. The report provides recommendations as to which categories of methodology are most applicable under different scenarios.
